Hangzhou Bay Bridge (China): Bridge Across the Ocean World’s Longest

Across the Hangzhou Bay bridge stood the world’s longest cross-sea, with a length of 35.673 kilometers (22 miles) with a six-lane motorway in both directions. This bridge was built to handle the traffic congestion in the area that is rapidly growing, cutting travel time between Shanghai and Ningbo from four hours to 2.5 hours.
